This list includes the name of Sir Henry Wheeler Ex Governor of Behar (15.02.1920), Lord Sinha , Baron of Raipur(12.4.1920), Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the then Vice-Chancellor, University of Calcutta(14.03.1937), Honble’ Mr Fazlul Haque, Chief Minister, Government of Bengal (10.1.1941). The Enquiry Committee headed by Rajkumari Amrit Kaur , Honble ‘Minster of the then Government of India visited this glorious college in the year 1948 for the question of recognition of Homoeopathy by the government of India. The wait was long but the Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College continued its victorious journey and produced brilliant students like Padmashri Late Dr K.G Saxena, Late Dr Jugal Kishore, Late Dr BholaNath Chakroborty, and Dr Ramkrishna Ghosh Mondal who became the pioneers of Homoeopathy in their own accord. This mother Institute has not only been the centre of excellence in the field of Homoeopathic Education,but also an abode of Classical Homoeopathic treatment for thousands of ailing patients. The Alumnis of this college not only occupy position of great repute in state and Central Government, but are also skilled Homoeopathic medical Practitioners all over the world.It is worth mentioning that the splendid digitalized Central Library with lots of archived books and rare journals is unarguably a jewel in the crown of this heritage Institute. The College has been declared as the State Model Institute since the year 2005. The College received its full time Principal and Administrator in the year 2016. The College received the long awaited permission to start the M.D (Homoeopathy) is the subject of Practice of Medicine from Session 2018-2019 onwards. The year 2019 is a remarkable year for college and hospital section, with opening of USG facility, Physiotherapy unit, AYUSH WELLNESS centre, renovation of IPD & OPDs, Herbal Garden, Hahnemann Statue and a well furnished Girl's Hostel within the college premises.
